Hi.

Do any of you go to a spiritualist church? If so, do you sense spirits more now since you have been going?

I used to go a lot of years ago but then stopped. I was just learning about spiritualism then, I feel more advanced now so I am thinking about going again.

What are others experiences if any?

Thanks wowy yes.gif I know what you mean. I think I will start to go now and then again. It certainly is an interesting experience anyway. I guess the more aware I become by reading and going to the churches the more I can work out what I need to know if anything. I think if you have an urge to do something then you should do it and I feel the urge to go there just now.

Jason,

spiritualist churches are the same as any other church in the way of praying and singing hymms. The difference is that they usually have a medium on a podium or some kind of stand to deliver messages for the congragation. They sometimes have differnt nights for mediumship development during the week too, like a learning circle. Its usually the kind of church where you can have a laugh as well as shed some tears too!

Its still a place of religion but it is open to everbody. They say that all you need to believe is that the spirit goes on after death.

Sorry I have taken so long to answer!

Very interesting, are they called something special? You know, Catholic, Protestant ect...? So a person could identify them? I often wondered where demonologists went to pray, they can't all be Catholic. Probably all believe in and pray to God but it seems unlikely that they would go to a main stream church.

They are just called spiritualists. It was origionally classed as a `movement` rather than a religion, although some may argue otherwise. The way to find out about where they are is to pop into your local library and ask if there is one in your area. These places are often the size of someone`s front room as thats what they origionally were, it was frowned upon (seen as edging towards witchcraft, which its not) for many years and so meetings were held in secret rather than in a standard church.

Dunno about demonologists dontgetit.gif
