Just recently, my boyfriend Tony and I founded a rather serious paranormal team for the surrounding Chicago area (we ourselves are located in Schaumburg, IL). If you yourself are interested in ghost hunting and live in the area, check out our website which can be found in my signature. We're in need of new members, especially those to fill in the open positions we have! yes.gif Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the invite, but since I don't have a teleporter yet, I'll have to be content with the Net. I went to your site and the EVPs are quite interesting. Can't wait till you post some photos. Chicago and area have many huge cemeteries and ancient homes waiting for you! Best of Luck in your venture!, .....James thumbsup.gif

lol Thank you James!

Well, unfourtunately, there was more than one let-down at our first investigation. First of all, no one showed up, so it was just Tony and I. I can understand if people were busy, but it would have been nice to hear beforehand so at least I knew for sure rather than waiting to expect anyone. We were there an hour recording, and witnessed several groups of people, young and old, come and go during our investigation. We didn't get any evidence though and came out pretty empty handed. I'd like to get permission in the future, probably in the summer time, to investigate at night. It was terribly windy and cold and you could hardly hear anything besides the wind or the cars on the road, sadly enough. Therefore, the contamination was great. Not a great start to GHoST, but that means it can only get better from here.

Just in case anyone's interested in the place, we took pictures during our investigation - although none are paranormal in nature.

The path leading in towards the cemetery.

The gates to the cemetery.

Some of the few headstones.

One of two of the fallen trees that broke the fence.

A stream the flows near the cemetery.

The pond area where bodies were supposedly dumped into.

A headstone that got lots of attention, probably due to the infant daughter engraved on it.

Me, too.

Me recording and asking questions.

Yeah,..... Whoa,....Oh , what a run down place of Sacredness! I haven't seen an area in such dire need of some TLC! It definitely looks like a great place for an all night investigation, wish I could join you. Maybe your rookies got cold feet when they found out it was this place. That might be a good indicator.....Thanks for the pics,..very cool,...
w1ngs0fate
Thank you. Yeah, that's a possibility! That place has been badly vandalized, completely. I even read there used to be about 200 headstones there, but, due to vandalism, only just 20 remain. I can't imagine why and how so many people can be that disrespectful. That just seems cruel, honestly. I mean, I know when I'm dead I definitely don't want any kids coming in and defacing my headstone!

I'm in the south Suburbs, where is your team based?

Edit, ok, scratch that, I see you're up in Schaumburg laugh.gif

You should check out some of the cemeteries in Decatur sometime.... yes.gif
