Book reveals Bush's bouts of crying, ghostly visions

WASHINGTON • George W. Bush, the U.S. President, is prone to bouts of crying caused by the stress of his job and claims to have seen ghosts emerge from the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House, according to a new book on his presidency.

In a series of remarkably candid admissions by a sitting president, Mr. Bush confides to author John Draper he has been "sustained by the discipline of the faithful experience" during the most difficult days of his presidency.

"I've got God's shoulder to cry on. And I cry a lot," Mr. Bush says in Dead Certain: The Presidency of George W. Bush, which was released to U.S. bookstores yesterday. "I do a lot of crying in this job. I'll bet I've shed more tears than you can count, as president. I'll shed some tomorrow."

Mr. Draper interviewed Mr. Bush six times for the book - most recently in May, 2007 - and coaxed a bevy of previously unknown details about some of the most turbulent moments of his presidency.

Dead Certain details his reluctance to seek UN approval for an Iraq war resolution because of his contempt for the international body.

Mr. Bush describes his continuing dislike for the United Nations by recounting running across former president Bill Clinton at a UN meeting in June, 2006.

"Six years from now, you're not gonna see me hanging out in the lobby of the UN," he insisted.

The book casts Mr. Bush as disengaged - almost uninterested - as Hurricane Katrina approached the Gulf Coast on Aug. 28, 2005.

On the day before the hurricane struck New Orleans, he spent a day riding his mountain bike and swimming on his ranch in Crawford, Tex.

By the time he joined an emergency video conference about Katrina, he was so "gassed" by his physical exertion he did not ask any questions about the federal government's preparedness, the book says.

The President also candidly reveals the emotional toll Iraq has taken on him, saying overseeing the current troop surge has been a "tiring period."

Discussing his past battles with alcohol, he says he would never be able to make decision on war if he was still drinking.

"Exercise helps. And I think prayer helps," he says. "I wouldn't be President if I kept drinking. You can get sloppy, can't make decisions. It clouds your reason, absolutely."

The book also adds new information about his administration's over-optimistic assessment of how quickly the United States would stabilize Iraq after the 2003 invasion.

When a senior congressional Republican warned Dick Cheney in August, 2002, the United States would get mired in Iraq, the Vice-President reportedly scoffed.

"It'll be like the American army going through the streets of Paris [in the Second World War]," he said. "The people will be so happy with their freedoms that we'll probably back ourselves out of there within a month or two."

Despite the current problems plaguing Iraq, Mr. Bush seems "more serene" about the prospects for victory and is already planning his career after the White House.

He said he plans to "replenish the ol' coffers" by speaking on the lecture circuit, where he can make "ridiculous" money recounting his experiences.

"I don't know what my dad gets. But it's more than 50, 75 [thousand dollars]," he said. "Clinton's making a lot of money."

Perhaps the oddest revelation is an episode from 1992, when his father was president.

The younger Mr. Bush found the White House a "creepy place," Mr. Draper writes.

After exercising in a White House gym one evening, he told a friend he froze in his steps while approaching the Lincoln Bedroom.

Mr. Bush insists "he saw ghosts - coming out of the wall," according to the friend.

Hmm.. I read most of this yesterday on yahoo news but.. Bush SAYING he saw ghosts coming out of the walls? that wasn't part of the article I read, I can't believe that, and I'm not going to confirm it either, heck no I'm not gonna buy bush's biography.

President Bush no doubt has psychic abilities and is capable of seeing Spirits.

I was told that President John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy have been visiting the white house ever since they went to the Spirit World and they also visit the senate and have had me send mail to the White House many times since they first appreared to me in l986.

At first it was snail mail and over the past five years we have sent several E-Mails.

Not long ago I was working in my kitchen and I was told that Saadam Hussein visits George Bush all the time and now that he is free of his body his Spirit can go anywhere it wants to and do anything it wants to to anyone and he is still very angry at President Bush for tearing his country up and says his people are in much worse conditions now than they ever were under his control, and says back then at least they had the basics that humans need in their everyday lives, and now their country is torn up and they don't even have the basic needs.

I am told now that we are in Iraq we cannot get out because if we do the power struggle will begin and ethnic cleansings will be rampant as they were in many countries over the past twenty year when many groups struggle for Dominance and control.

Those are some pretty strong accusations rose, I wonder where you got'em from lol

I sincerely hate this guy on many levels.
It's to bad the ghost he saw coming out of the wall from the Lincoln bedroom, didn't take Bush with him "into the light", "back to the other side" (whatever you want to call it). It would have saved us a world of headaches. Literally.

They are things I have discussed with Spirits in the Spirit World and thats the way Saadam feels.

And Iranians come in and talk about what they think about us here in America and while I don't say much I listen so I understand how they all feel.

Mostly the Iranans say they remember when the U.S. used Saadam gainst them when we were fighting with them back in the Earlier Gulf War and when they finished with him they turned on him.

They mostly say we knew about all the bad things Saadam did back then but we didn't talk about it much until they felt like going after him.

I am told the main thing they complain about it after 911 instead of our directing our rath and efforts to capture against Bin Laden they chose to attack Iraq and they shold have concentrated on chasing Bin Laden until they caught him.

I personally don't know much about Politics but just discuss things with those in the Spirit World who want to vent their thoughts about how they feel as they try to adjust to the World they now find themselves in.

Many other things should have been done. It would be like a little tiny gang of crazies in America doing something asinine like what Al Qaeda did and in turn the country they did it to, invaded us, turned our world upside down, etc....I do not and will not ever get the connection between a little terriost group in Pakistan and how it lead to Iraq being attacked for it....never.

I remember back in the day I sincerely thought they'd just send a team of elite special forces guys in to take Bin Laden out, and that would be that. I can't believe after all this time that he's still breathing.

How cool would it be to get to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom? If I'm ever rich and/or famous enough to stay at the White House, I'll definitely request that room. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Maybe don't hold your breath though... getting rich/famous takes time.

I sometimes wonder how you actually listen to your spirits rosemary.. I mean.. lelt's imagine you are not mentally ill... you'd sit and listen.. and let's imagine you are.. you'd still sit and listen to complete silence yet in your mind you'd be talking to yourself in the form of a ghost.. and still.. you get lots of information that's hard to prove but also quite hard to make yourself believe.. Interesting..

I don't think you understand how it is with people like me who see and hear Spirits.

I don't talk to myself they appear to me and speak in voices that I can hear just as if they are in the room with me.

For example when I go shopping with Thomas one of my Guides who scouts the stores and knows what I want to buy he talks to me throughout the day about what coupons I need and what is on sale and he does this so when we go to the Store I will close out the voices of the Possessing Spirits and buy only what he has found that I want and that is what a Guide does among other things.

If he doesn't do this when we get to the store the four mean spirits will talk all the time and when Thomas makes a Suggestion they will counteract it with words of their own to put doubt in my mind to confuse the issue.

By Thomas allerting me to what we want to do while we are out shopping the others don't cause me so many problems.

I have recently been visiting some Websites and talking to Paranormal Investigators Via E-Mail and I am finding that there is really little known by these people about the Paranormal and so I can see why the things I am writing may be so hard to understand its still very strange to people.

I had hoped that my writing might get people to understand better and perhaps get more of an interest in these things themselves so they could in turn get other people more interested in the Paranormal and Channeling.
Instead some people believe I am grandstanding and looking for Attention but nothing could be further from the truth.

Don't just let us know...invite us too!!
We will be just as well behaved as we are now!

I expect Bush is susceptible to ghostly visitors, because he is half dead himself.

Bush no doubt is developing his Psychic abilities even without his knowledge and this enables him to have the experiences which have been posted in the story.
In fact there could be spirits in the After Life who are in communication with him sometimes without his knowledge and some of them could be putting ideas into his head which in some cases may help him make right decisions and sometimes wrong decisions depending on what their motives are.
It could be he could do with an Exorcism or perhaps a Psychic Medium could visit the White House and check things out.
I of course am not volunteering to do that but there are many Psychics out there who might like to do it.
Perhaps Sylvia, or John Edwards or one of the Very Public Psychics could be invited to the White House to check things out, but on the other hand after all the flack the Reagans got for believing in Psychics and consulting them I don't think its likely that this administration would follow any of these suggestions.

Back in the Eighties when I first began channelling for Spirit Former president John F. Kennedy told me he visits the white house all the time.

Sometimes after he visited the white house and other places he had me send letters to those in the white house, and I am not sure how letters like that are handled and or if they ever reach the president or not, but of course I did as he asked.

He still likes to give advice from his place in the Spirit World and has many good ideas now just as he did when he was here on Earth.

He Claims now he will never find peace until I get his assassination Story out as I promised I would, but of course that has become imossible since all the Manuscripts I sent out to Publishers or Tabloids were never responded to and the book length manuscripts all disappeared so over the past years I have done the best I can to get his Story out by posting it on the various Websites I visit.

I thought by now some News Program would have gotten ahold of the story and written about some Psychic who claims to be in Communication with President John F. kennedy and knows all the details behind the assassination but in 20 years of me sending information out not one word has been mentioned by anyone.

The Guides told me the kennedy Family made all the writing about this disappear so one day I called the senate office of Senator Edward Kennedy and talked to someone in his press office and he said well he personally had never seen the manuscripts but he could tell me one thing for sure nothing is ever written about the kennedy Family anywhere unless it crosses the Desk of Senator Edward Kennedy, and if that is true I guess some of the bad things we have read about the family may have been put out by his office for some reason or the other.

Rosemary, why dont you actually create a website with these messages. They can be lost too easily and too quickly on forums. You could even create a free website on things like Yahoo and whatnot...

...just a thought.

Thats a thought, and I do write on other websites but I thought those who are searching for answers on websites like this would like to hear about my experiences just as I am interested in what they have to say and things they have learned as they tell their stories and I believe by exchanging information like this we can all learn from each other.

I think those who are interested in communication with Spirits should know the good and bad about what they can come in contact when they begin developing their interest in the Paranormal and I believe all experiences no matter what they are can be very important to Paranormal Research.

But you're right one can surf the net and enter the word paranormal and they can find about anything they would care to know about the Paranormal.

On the other websites I write on and when I contact paranormal Investigation type sites I always suggest that they visit www.ghost-mysteries.com and read the things I am writing and I believe exchanging experiences such as I write about can be very beneficial to some of the Research Groups who are also exploring and looking for the truth about the Spirit World and Life after Death.

I dont think Bush is losing it cause he never really had it in the first place and I dont think he is trying to connect with the paranormal community either.

Think for a moment outside of Bush being the political disaster that he is. The White House has long been rumored to be haunted as Rosemary has said. Past presidents as well as other staff members and visitors have heard, seen and felt things so I believe Bush probably has experienced things in the White House.

With the history of the White House it is very possible.

You know evan you got a good point right there, he might be saying that he sees ghosts and stuff to promote something that's gotta do with the paranormal community, who knows.. but I don't think he's able to do so.. actually, who knows, the white house IS an OLD place and it's quite illegal to investigate it lol

i don't think its illegal, i just think that they don't allow investigations is because there is a lot of goverment information that wants to be kept confidential, and not to mention the security of the most powerful man in the united states. I bet if sombody like TAPS actually asked if they could do a investiagtion there, i think they would get a good responce seeing as they are very accomplished paranormal investigators.

well one thing's for sure, if Bush really can see ghosts, he'll be haunted for the rest of his life, for all the lives his miserable life has cost.

i really don't know what their problem is, i mean if they did have an investigation, wouldn't they get more tourists if they found hard evidence proving there are ghosts in the W.House including Lincoln?

I'm not sure if large crowds of tourists at the white house would be looked upon as benificial. Financially, yeah, but security-wise it would probably suck.

I believe ghost-hunters and Looklios would take away from the normal business of the white house but then they do have tourists but I'm sure they are only allowed in certain areas of the White House.

Luna, were talking about the Whit House here, one of the most secure places in the world, nothing and nobody could even think about doing anything in there without geting caught.

I disagree. It may be very secure but it's all about what you know. If someone(s) really wanted to do their research and spend a lot of time on it, I am sure they could figure out something. It would be ignorant to think otherwise.

If I ever solve my problem here with my four Invading Spirits I could try Remote Viewing and see what I can pick up in the White House.
A few years back when Clinton was in the White House one night I saw a black haired woman whom I didn't know at the time and a voice said:
"A Black Haired woman will bring down the President"
As we know that did come to pass and the black haired woman was Monica W.

I would agree with Cheryl here, after all look a 9-11...that was all carefully planned...years in the making.
Same thing could be done at the White house, person gets employed (house keeping or whatever)
Stays awhile..gathers information, the wheres and whens....anything is possible.

But I would think that there's cameras set up through out the place, wonder what kind of stuff has been seen and not brought out to the public.

ya, but employees that work in the White House have a background check on everything they've done, so if someone was applying and had a bad background, they would deny his employment and probably put him into custody. I agree that 911 was really planned out, but i think they knew it was going to happen before the incident occured, what with all the videos the terrorists sent out.

The white house hasn't been broken into.. for it's security system is disabled/enabled from within local area networks not even Elite Hackers can get into from outside the white house walls..

No one can break in to investigate it..

I'd love to say it would be possible.. but it's not, Unless the same people that worked inside helped someone else infiltrate the building and that'd be betrayal and they'd be executed for risking the president's life.. I doubt anyone will ever do this for ghost hunting

When I first began gathering information as a Psychic back in the late eighties and John and Robert F. Kennedy and others began writing through me I was told by the Guides that since I didn't know what to do with the information at that time and I was receiving so many things about Medical Research and looks into the future about foreign affairs and all sorts of things I should bundle it up and each month I should send it off to what they dubbed a clearing house so it could be used for research purposes or wherever it would be helpful and I did that.

One thing that started all this for me is I awakened one morning during the first Persian Gulf War when I saw a missile hit a ship.

I was startled but didn't know what to do with that since I had little experience as a Psychic Yet.
About three yours later the U.S.S. Stark was hit and I knew that is exactly what I had seen earlier and I thought if I had only know what to do with this Psychic Information Perhaps I could stop some of this.

You wouldn't believe the kinds of things that came to me back then.
I began to do remote viewing and could see things in foreign countries and know things that would happen even before they did and this included seeing Earthquakes and Tidal waves in foreign countries before they happened.

I could see supplies being ferried up and down the persian gulf and all sorts of things.
I saw our troops being gassed in the war and later that came out in the news.
I saw Satellites in Outerspace long before they were revealed and while they were still top secret so of course I followed the Guides and sometimes on a daily basis I would get a Psychic thing which I would send off to the white house which the Guides said could be a clearing house for this information and they could do with it what they should.

As time went John F. Kennedy had me talking to under secretaries of state discussing all sorts of things with them and sometimes talking for a long time.

My Relatives kept telling me I was going to get arrested but I didn't.
Soon Psychics and astrologers were coming out of the woodwork and posting with the president and first lady and all sorts of things were happening.

Then one night as I was sitting in my bedroom meditating three space aliens walked in in Doctors Outfits and walked to my bed and stuck a needle in the base of my brain and groin and told me they were researchers and this was some sort of experiment.

I sent that off in the large packet of pages that I would address to the white house once a month with stragglers in between and soon the pictures of the Space Aliens I had sent off to the white house were appearing on some of the Tabloids but no one ever contracted me except once in a while I would get a little note from someone at the white house thanking me for the Information.

I have letters collected from all sorts of people but some of them re just form letters.

In pages I sent to the white house and all sorts of publications I told the story about what was coming to me about the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy and what happened to teamster Jimmy Hoffa and thins would be published in tabloids and everything drumming up all those things but no one ever contacted me.

That is only a few things that I did back then and not one person ever called me crazy or said I needed a psychiatrist the way some people on these websites have done so I guess the people who read my stuff in washington are a little more interested in the Paranormal than the ones looking for answers on some of the websites.

All the pages that I gathered as a psychic and that I wrote with the Guides and my four Evil Spirits who interferred in my work were all timed and dated and collected and one day if I have the time some of it might be used in a book but since I can't work in peace because of the Four Possessing Spirits the pages may be just let with my realtives and others to deal with one day after my Death.
Hopefully at that time they become a little more enlightened and don't throw the pages away because I believe they are very important to furthering paranormal research.

Now Rosemary, let me get this straight. Not only are you possessed,psycic and have J.F.K as your guide but now you get visited by aliens in your bedroom for experiment purposes.

Thats what I said but whether they were bonifide Space Aliens or some Spirits masquereding as Space Aliens I am not certain but they came to my bed and caused me to feel a needle going into my Ovarie and the base of my brain and told me they were taking samples for Research Purposes.
Now the strange thing about this is I didn't tell anyone what had happened and one day I was at my Sisters and she said you will never believe what happened to me and she proceeded to tell me basically the same story about this happening to her.
I couldn't believe it.
I thought here whether they were Aliens or Spirits in Doctors Coats masquereding as Space Aliens it is quite a story about the paranormal.
After that one night as I slept I was looking down on a farm and I heard a voice say:
"Animals and Humans"
I didn't know where the farm was at the time, but about eight or so years later my sister who lived in Florida at the time and seemed to be settled there for life went to one of the the Carolinas and bought that exact farm that I had seen all those years earlier shown to me by a Being in the Spirit World.

Everything I write is the absolute truth as I know it to be.
Dealing with things of the Paranormal is not everyday things and we have to realize when we communicate with Spirits they can appear as anything they choose to and tell us whatever they want to whether its believable or not its what happens.

My purpose of writing everything that I have had happen to me good or bad is to introduce you to the Spirit World as I know it and write about everything that has happened to me and that is what is called Paranormal Research and my motto is if you don't believe my experiences then you can set out to gather some of your own experiences and then when you write bout what you believe to be the absolute truth see how others respond to what you are telling them and then you will know what I and others have faced down through the ages as we try to share our experiences about the Parnormal.

You can imagine the reaction I have about some of the things I am seeing, but at this point in time I am no longer afraid but in the beginning that was not the case.

Another example of what I have experiences is after these Aliens appeared to me I began to get all sorts of garbly good conversations drifting down to me from the Universe and when I wrote about it some Beings appered and said don't write that and appeared to be projecting such fear towards me that quickly tore the copy up.

Later I wrote about it and nothing happened but I was too frightened to write about it for a while.

You must also understand back then I was touching maps of various places all over the World and seeing Oil Exploration in Russia and Alaska an a while later after I saw that and said Oil will be found there it was announced in the News.

Back then after a Plane Crash somewhere I would touch the story and ask who did this and I would see someone getting on the plane with a brown suitcase which held explosives and later in the News I would see that same brown suitcase and they would say a suitcase like this held the explosives.

One of the reasons the Possessive Spirits have been trying to destroy my brain is because they were trying to see if they can stop me from receiving this information from somewhere in the Universe from a place I know as 'The Akaskic Records' which I am told records everything that any of us does from the moment we are born to the moment we die and I at that time had the capability of writing a question on paper or asking it of the Akaskic Records and I could learn anything I wanted to about anyone I asked about.

Now I am so busy fighting with the four possessing spirits trying to talk or force them out of my body that I have no time for my exhausted brain to continue to gather this important information.

Tonight for example I have had 3 hours of sleep and the pain of the attacks gets so bad that I get up and surf the web in self defense.

And as I write they are sitting right inside my body helping me reminiscence and write these stories so they can help me write but I can't do that anymore because of the brutal attacks against my brain.

I know no one knows what to do and that is alright as long as you know what might happen to you when you delve into the Paranormal and have relatives in the After life like mine who are so jealous of what I was able to get from a Higher realm of the Spirit World they set out to destroy my brain or attempt to kill me to stop me from gathering this information and write about it.

Anywho.....I believe this thread isn't about, possession, dead relatives wanting to possess you or aliens playing experiments on your, well..body parts. So, let's bring this back around to the topic before it turns into another Rosemary thread for pages and pages.
