Carlisle man says house fire was an exorcism

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- A central Iowa man charged with reckless use of fire for allegedly setting his house on fire wanted to get rid of evil spirits, according to prosecutors.

Jimmie Lee Stephens, 58, was arrested in Indianola after officials said he set fire to his Carlisle home on Aug. 9.

Warren County prosecutors said Stephens told police he set his couch on fire.

"That is what you have to do to remove the evil spirits," prosecutors claim Stephens said.

The fire caused minor smoke damage to the house. It remains under investigation.

But what is wrong with these people?
Is everyone like seriously mental these days or what?

Why, yes.. yes we are.

I sure do, but anyway, another case of an insane person burning his house in the sake of casting demons away, wasn't there a thread just like this one a few days back? could these occurences have a connection ?

When Evil Spirits enter a persons life its so frightening if they have no experience with such that they sometimes behave in an irrational way.

This may no doubt believed if he turned the house he would rid himself of the Spirit who is tormenting him but doing this will not solve the problem because if this Spirit has it in for him the Evil Spirit will only follow him elsewhere and continue to do these things if it so chooses.

In most cases the Spirit doing the Evil is usually a family member or acquaintance who is angry at this person for some reason and wants to seek vengance for a slight they believe that person caused them when they were alive on Earth.

It could be about something very small or it could be about something big like the way the person may have behaved at the funeral or something the Spirit heard the man say about him not knowing that the Spirit World sees all and hears all and sometimes they will be listening to what is being done on Earth or some back biting gossip this person is doing and if the Spirit chooses to seek vengance these are the kinds of things that happen.

Remember that old Saying:
"Speak no Evil of the Dead"
That is because they see and hear everything if they are hanging around your place of residence and the Spirits who normally visit and hang about are the Spirits of Relatives and others we have known in our life before they died and sometimes they are mean and piteful and frustrated because of the things people say about them after they die and they may hold grudges and envy those left behind and set out to cause unhappiness.

I wonder if his homeowners insurance covers ghostly hauntings?

There seams to be a bigger trend with this recently. I cant see why these people think they can burn a house down to rid the house of spirits. Do these people think the ghosts will burn up in the flames along with the house?

I think this man along with the guy in the North Hamptons will be spending lots of time with people in white coats holding clip boards.

or with some guy named Bubba in an 8 by 10...

It may be true these men may be dealing with men in white coats but it doesn't mean they don't have a spirit problem, it only means they didn't deal with it in the right way.

better believed they could burn a haunted house and get rid of the problem, and there are others who are advised to move and the problem will be solved but this won't work either.

I have for example written in many places including here about a Possession problem I have been having since l986 when three of my relatives and Dr. P. who was a Psychiatrist when he walked the Earth entered my body and have become increasingly violent in an effort to force me to tell my story and few people have believed it and I don't think anyone will believe these things unless they have the problem themselves.

I'm not sure how I will ever solve my problem but I do know one thing for sure I refuse to let them cause me to do anything that remotely mimicks what these people have done.

I don't know how to solve my problem but I also know these four have no idea what will happen to them after they leave my body because a Spirit on a Higher Realms has threatened them and they are now too terrified to leave my body and so now the fright shoe is on the other foot and its their problem on how they get out of this body and what they prove because now I am using them to prove some of this.

I may learn that no one in the Universe can punish them for what they do, but the fact is a Guide told us he has the power to destroy them at some point in time if they don't change and I am here to prove one way or the other if this is true or not when they come out of my body.

I am here to learn the secrets of the Universe and who can solve what and who has control of whom and these four will be proving that when they decide to leave this body.

Do they repent and give in to the Guide who threatened them, or do they stand up and fight and challenge him outside my body and if they do what will happen to them?

This is all part of my trying to solve the secrets of the Universe and give the World the real truth.

Once I solve that problem I am going to take on the Bible and Creation and Evolution and see what happens.

Step 3. Claim that the spirits of the dead are taunting you at night, demanding you eat cheesy poofs!

he's right rose, that's a bit too much of a goal, maybe you oughta stick to look for someone who'll believe you and has a powerful rank in the media ?

When I said I will take on the bible, Creation and Evolution I only meant there is much discussion about these things, and some think this way and some another and I am thinking once I get these four out of my body and see what happens with them then I will know more about what eventually happens to Evil Spirits in the After Life.

From where I sit in my communication with the After Life and after getting Information from the Akaskic Records I have many questions and while I have many Answers there is a whole new World above which has opened up to me and now I am asking myself many questions and as I ask questions and get answers more questions present themselves.
