Ghost phobia creates panic
Khandwa, Jan 5 Now-a-days the news about ghosts are in circulation in the district. It had its impact in village Revada where the students of a school had to be shifted to another building. Earlier to this the news about ghosts were coming from village Dhuma or from the remote areas of Jagdalpur. In a fresh incident, in Khandwa, the students are facing the problem of ghost.

There is widespread fear among the villagers and the students due to fear of ghost in Revada. For the last ten days the residents live in awe and fear.

It is said that 7 students had become unconscious after seeing the ghost. When the students regained their consciousness, they informed that there is a ghost at the tamarind tree. The students said that the ghost calls them and in fear they lose consciousness. With a view to ward off the evil spirits, the parents of all the 128 students have tied strings in their wards hands.

Moreover at the door of the school also the villagers had tied the string. To save their children from fear of ghost the villagers have changed the place. A member of Parents-teachers Association, Dheeraj Singh Thakur said that the students were taken to the doctor but to no avail.

There have been a lot of articles about similar incidents recently, I think the more these are attributed to 'ghosts' the worse the mass hysteria becomes.

Thats scary, I cant imagine being evacuated from my school because of ghosts. =0

I can lol, it'd be freaking great, any student could make up a story about seeing the same ghost and the whole school would be evacuated once again, rock n roll =D

The Students no doubt passed out from Fear.
Moving to another building will not solve the problem because Spirits can go anywhere they want to and locks can't keep them out of homes, schools or anywhere and the fact is some of the ghosts they are seeing could be the Spirits of their Ancestors returning to visit the school and see how their decendants are doing.

"Spirits of their Ancestors returning to visit the school and see how their decendants are doing" , why would these ancestors wanna see how students are doing? haha , wouldnt they be worried about flying or learning how to move objects in the real world and stuff? and not get possessed or help or destroy people?

from childhood onwards i have a fear about ghosts.
But i never saw ghosts.

A load of fear and terror for no reason! Ghost aren't to be feared, but further understanding their nature is critical to ensure that we become more open to the fact that ghosts exist and accept it more easily! I too have never seen a ghost, but I have been in lots of areas with ghostly activity.

I have seen a ghost lol, face to face, this one wasn't evil, but try opening a closet and suddenly a dead nurse coming up to you and trespassing your face, it's happened, that wouldn't scare You ? hehe

First, I would clean up the puddle of urine on the floor, change my pants, then go and tell someone about it.

From a psychological perspective this is fascinating... its amazing what the human brain can do itself when it believes or fears irrational things... take for instance phobias...

Some people worry about a spider in their house so much they won't go back and if they saw it, boom they pass out

No, no, no. You never take your eyes off the spider that's the goal. Those suckers are fast, fast, fast. You quickly multi task and by shifting your eyes briefly from the spider to scope out your surrondings to locate anything that may be used as a weapon and then, keeping your eye on the spider (in case you haven't figured it out that is key) quickly grab your weapon and attack !!! Um....okay, I'll admit that the mind is a very powerful thing. Believing in irrational fears definitly seems to be one of them. Not that it applies to me and me spider issue

That would be a great pet!! ya right spiders don't bug me but ones that size just think what it could do to a child or a adult for that matter.. but very cool never the less.

call me weird but I WANT ONE!!!!! my cousin used to have tarantulas (ahh...can't spell anything today...im so out of it...lol) they were so cool =]

tarantulas I could live with but ones that big not! my friend had a tarantulas it was a cool spider, I would like to get one but may wife don't like them or snakes...

I refuse to admit the irrational behavior that I have with spiders. I find it to be a completly justified fear!
When I was about four I was over at a friend's house and there was a spider on the garage. So, we had to go check it out. That bugger jumped at us. We took off running like the babies we were/are and I ran all the way home without looking back with this image in my head that the spider was flying behind me, chasing me. I was bawling my fooled head off.

ok let's stay on topic people, I know of a certain person that is ghost phobic, matts_girl would know what I'm talking about although this person did tell me something bad had happened to him earlier he hasn't told me yet what it was, I hope he does.. ghosts can surely traumatize you, I know of this guy who gets nervous when I bring the subject.
