Ghost chasing in Tamilnadu

Ghost chasing is a common practice at Amman temples(Goddess temples)
In Tamilnadu, India. People particularly women are affected by some psycho
Problems are said to be of ghosts or devils. The victims behave indifferently
And could not be cured by any system of medicine. At last, people come and worship their traditional rural deities which are capable of chasing ghosts and evil spirits.
The chasing rituals are being done by the rural priests along with drums etc.
Few months before I visited a village called Melmalaiyanur near Thiruvannamalai.
I clicked a devil chasing performance and also took a small video of it.
Here I would like to post the pictures of the ritual first .

That was interesting what you wrote. Why is it they are more after the women than the men? I have seen things like that on T.V. and its been pretty interesting, I guess they were being prayed for beccause of the spirits in or around them...Do they ever affect the men or is it just the women? all I have ever seen was with the women, thats why I asked...

hey bro you filmed all these? I see you filming lots of stuff regarding spirits, are you a priest? or a paranormal investigator in india? If so, as far as I know, in India, they believe in Buddha, can you teach me a bit about buddha? like the main rules and who he is supposed to be? In india there is no buddhism at all.
It had almost vanished.
Hinduism is main religion.
Shiva, vishnu and Bramma are gods and their wives are goddess. Their sons are also Gods.
besides there are thousands of rural deities. Different cults and rituals are practiced.
In brief one should born in India to witness the universe on the Earth.

Are there reported cases like Poltergeists, UFO's etc in India? I am sure there are, but it would seem that the western world has hundreds of books, TV shows etc, where as other countries don't seem as prevelant. I took a quick look at your website, very interesting!

These dances by the married ladies are acceptable by the society and defenitely it relax their mind, emotion, desire etc. the unmarried girls are reluctant to do this dances.If they do they may be called as ghost affected and their intention to do that dance will be chased away
