The girl that i saw

I had just been thinking back on some of the paranormal experiences I\'ve encountered throughout my lifetime, and one particular incident came to me. I figured I\'d share it. Years ago, when I was perhaps around the age of nine or ten years old, I was playing with my mates, as I did every day. We\'ll call them Jess and Ev. Ev and I were at Jess\' house, jumping on her trampoline (she was our only friend with one). I recall that we were playing some kind of zombie game while jumping (I\'ve always been a zombie freak, lol). At one point during this game, I pretended that a zombie had grabbed my leg, so I jumped up in the air and spread my limbs out (as if I were going to do a belly smacker). It was at that moment, in midair, that I felt compelled to look forward. Now, behind her house is a wide-open field; the only thing that can be found in this field is a pile of rock that surrounds a pipe that expells water. Anyway, I avert my eyes to the field, and there down by the rock pile, there\'s a girl. Despite the distance, I could see her quite clearly, which now thinking back on it, was a very odd thing. I could see that she had shoulder-blade length auburn hair and her attire was seemingly victorian. The dress she wore was a very pale (nearly white) green with white lace around the collar and three white buttons down the front. I\'m staring at her, she\'s staring at me, and I realize that I\'m still in the air. There was no sound, there was no movement. It was as if someone hit the mute button and slowed time. I was gradually falling, but very, very slowly. We stared at one another for what felt an eternity, when I was finally released and everything returned to normal. The girl was no longer there.
Skip forward a few months. I\'m standing in the livingroom, it\'s late at night (not sure of the exact time) and I\'m spinning in circles. My mother was in the kitchen, along with a few of her friends, blaring music, drinking and playing cards. I\'m spinning in circles and was doing this for a good five minutes, when suddenly, I\'m stopped dead in my tracks. As I turned, and was now facing the bedroom door, there that girl was again, standing right in front of the bunkbeds. Once again, there was no sound, but now time wasn\'t only slowed down, it was at a complete halt. I could clearly see to my right (her left) my eldest brother hanging in midair (he must have been hopping off the top bunk). We\'re staring back at one another, and now I can see her much more clearly. Her hair covered her face, but only her nose was visible as her bangs split right at the bridge. Her hands were down at her sides and I could now make out her full attire. The dress was the same, only now I could see that there was more lace down the front and at the hem. She wore white pantihose (I\'m sure I misspelled that) and polished white flats with buckles. Also, she appeared to be somewhat saturated, as if she had gone for a swim before appearing in my room. After a moment of us staring at one another, she was gone like before and time was back on track. I just shook my head, shrugged it off, and certainly stopped spinning around. That was the last I ever saw this girl, and I wish I had been brave enough to communicate with her, rather than stare at her.
