This picture was taken on 9/26/2011 after a heavy rainstorm. Notice the white house across the street; it looks like a slave woman was standing in the window looking up towards the street at the flooding water. (she has an orange dress on) I showed this to the owner of the house (who was home sleeping at the time) He was like "OMG!!!!!" "There was nobody else here with me, where did she come from?" Several other people saw the picture and saw her too. The house is at least 70 years old. Any ideas on what, or who it may be? Attached File  Flooding On 88th 4.jpg   253.96K   45 downloads

I believe that you should exhaust all other possibilities before considering the paranormal - I'll take the first shot on this. :). . I suspect that what you are seeing is the infamous 'curtain silouette ghost'. A light from inside the house creates the dress color and the curtains give the impression of a human body. . Most instances of 'matrixing' human forms in windows are pretty easy to debunk because the details tend to be mis-proportioned. (Head too big, arm bent at an odd angle, things like that.) This one is impressive in that it truly looks human in size and detail. The give-away that makes me lean toward 'false-positive' here is that it seems that there is light reflecting on the water outside of the window. (The light that creates the orange dress.)

..Thank~You for taking time out of your day and replying. I'd like to inform you though that there is no curtains, nor were there ever, at the time the picture was taken, only blinds. Also, people have seen someone walking around outside the house (when no one was home) The man that owned the house prior, said that someone may have died there a long time ago (back in the early 50's) And I've heard stories of unrested spirits returning to places where their demise took place. Maybe the lady figure in the window died in a thunder storm or flooding in that house and just returned to reminisce. ??
