For the last year i have dreams where it feels like i am awake and im not, i try to wake up but i never can. In these dreams i am always the place where i am sleeping, i try to move around but something is always holding me down sometimes i can get of my bed but get pushed to the floor, i have managed once to get to my door and open it but then something pushed me to the floor and sometimes i even float in the air. I do try and scream and shout in these dreams to try and wake up but i cant, and they feel very real when i do my heart beating fast and im sweating. At 1st i never thought anything of it and just ignored them. The past couple of month i feel something around me, i see shadows in corner of different rooms. About 3 weeks ago i saw a old women staring at me in my garden and i freaked out, i also see different things, china dolls as well. Also a couple months ago i was having a very horrble dream and something shouted my name in my ear and it woke me up. There is also a picture of me and there is a ghost behind me with their hand on my shoulder, i have ignored all this until last night, i was half asleep and my bed started to shake and it freaked me out, i didnt know what to do i tried to ignore it and was saying in my head please stop and i fell back asleep. i have tried to talk to my friends about all of this but they just dont know what to say and i dont think they believe me. I dont understand what happening and i hope someone could explain to me what it happening, im scared if i show fear it will get a lot worse.

I feel the same, and I have been thru the same, unfortunately, spirits also come and talk to me and they also show me things its really scary. If i ignore them, they make everything move, my desk, my tv, they open and close my window, its really scary. I can see who is holding me, i feel so scared sometimes that I closed my eyes, I also tried to talk to people, some people make fun of it, some people say that they had experienced this kind of situations before.

..THe feeling that I get; is one of perplexed anxiety. I am not saying that what has happened to you is untrue...What does seem clear, is why should you feel freaked out at seeing a ghost?..I talk to them all the time, and to me....this is no different to writing here...You may add that it is not normal for a person not to be freaked out by a ghost?..That I accept, providing that you are talking about 'normality'..Clearly, ghosts are not accepted by the scientific journals and are often regarded as 'taboo'..So the subject changes once more, if your reason for being afraid is your acceptance of 'normality', and that what you describe in your postings is contary to normalised thought acceptances?...If what I say is true; then these alarming experiences are nothing more than self created by your fear and anxiety...Okay, do what I do....just go back to sleep...Regards George

Surely you've heard of Sleep Paralysis. It sounds like you should have a sleep study done by a doctor.

Right before I started having paranormal events happen to me I started having nightmares where I could not move either and you think you are awake. Then I had 2 where I woke up and saw a dark shadow figure at the end of my bed and when I woke up screaming I really did see something at the end of my bed that stood there for 3 or 4 seconds.I thought I had just imagined this when I really woke up.But,the very next night I was dreaming the same exact dream with one difference the shadow figure was standing next to me on the side of the bed not at the bottom and it was as big as an eight or nine year old child but,I know it was not a child.I just knew it.Then I really woke up and it was still there. So,I knew I was not imagining it,but I talked myself into believing I was still dreaming because, after all, we Atheist knew for a fact nothing like that exists.Another weird thing is that I was a person who hardly ever had nightmares.I can tell you that I had only had 4 or 5 in my entire life and they were when I was a kid.I had the nightmares for about 6 months until I had those last 2.Then they seemed to stop for a year or so.Then they started back up.Every time I thought I was awake and I was not.One of the other one's that stick out is that this man had me and he was flinging me around like I was a rag doll or something and we were in some sort of foyer that I had been in many times.I recognized it in my dream as a place I was very familiar with.It was a beautiful staircase in the foyer that led to the upstairs.I then was outside the door of the house peeking in at my mother who is not my mother in real life.It was so so real. The man flinging me around I did not recognize. That really scared me for some odd reason. And I still have them every once in a while now. Then after the dreams where the figures were really standing around my bed I started to have extreme amounts of paranormal activity in my home.I even had a paranormal team there and they confirmed I was not delusional and I am being haunted. They did get 2 EVP's but experienced many many things.2 people on the team was scared to death by my ghosts.I am not afraid of them in the least,I just now they protect me from something.Another thing is that I am always waking up screaming in my sleep,it is so bad when it happens my husband has to wake me up.But,these dreams are so real and vivid that I can not understand how they can be that way.I can even smell things and see minute details.I can not do that in my regular dream. They are completely different from regular dreams. The only similarity is that they both happen when I am sleeping.I have had many many strange things happen and I am now a full fledged believer in God and I believe evil can exist to influence you. So,maybe this might help you to know that other people experience them also just as vividly as you.

George,I was afraid of my ghosts at first, terrified actually. But,then one day I woke and I was not afraid of them anymore.I just knew they were not there to hurt me, but there to protect me,from what I do not know,I suspect it is from 2 shadow figures I had saw and just knew they were not of this world..I knew this like I know I am on earth. It is wierd how I just know.Do not get me wrong they do startle me sometimes when I am not expecting something or it taps me.I talk to them too.LOLOLOLOL If they are being pesty like not letting me sleep or tapping me too much I really tell them to stop for a while that I am glad they are with me and I can sense when they are and they will stop doing what ever it is they have been doing.I talk to them like they are my friends or children.I like having them they make my life interesting after I got over that initial fear.I experience things a lot sometimes then I will have periods of 3 or 4 months will go by with very little activity.I just thought it was funny that you talked to them also.I was afraid people would think I had really lost my grip on reality if I told that to someone.LOLOLOLOLOL

As I read this it sounded like a lucid dream at first and then you said your bed began to shake and then I had to raise an eyebrow. I was doing a ghost box session in Nashville Tn and the box said "please stop" I posted it earlier so I won't post it again. I have been leaving this trace though. We are the Truth Seekers.
