well a pentagram is a pagan symbol and Hollywood has twisted the truth (like always) and portrait the pentagram to be an evil demonic thing instead of what it really is.
then there is a reverse pentagram is satanic (upside down)

Actually, you are partially right. The pentagram is not something integral to all paganism, but it is used in some witchcraft and Wicca (those two are not the same thing). The upside pentagram DOES NOT equate Satanism or evil. It is often used on the robes of high priests in some covens..
.
Hollywood has really messed up the image of all things involving witchcraft, Wicca, and paganism. I'm glad you asked rather than just assuming Hollywood had it right.

5 pointed, well you got me on that. The six pointed one called the "Seal of Solomon". thhe "Seal of Daid", which had potective qualities as well as the power tosummon various elementals demons, "spirits",the "djinn" and so forth. Supposedly his ring, his real power object, and his "seal" were buried along wih him.

well we can't deny the fact that symbols also evolve in meaning. Just like the swastika for example. The swastika is an ancient symbol of unknown origin but now we see it as the symbol for Nazis. Yes I quite agree that Hollywood messed up the star symbol. ..Solstice.Paranormal Community
