One night, I had rolled over and tried to go to sleep. As soon as I started to doze off, something woke me up. Someone tapped me on the shoulder, three times. I immediately woke up, but just layed there. I then closed my eyes to get back to sleep, but was tapped again three more times. Nobody was in the room but me. In fact, nobody was even in the house.

I've had this feeling many times. It's so wierd. You feel like a human has tapped you but no one is there.

Exactly. It freaked me out so bad, but I was too scared to turn and see who it is.

I have felt something on my shoulder while sleeping, but put it down to my skin tightening?

It could have been something. For about the past month stuff like that has been happening to me too. Except it was someone jumping on my bed. I was alone, and I was awake so I know I wasn't dreaming.

Twice, someone has been there to witness it. Usually it's hearing people walking around and opening and closing doors. (I was in the shower once and the bathroom door opened. I of course nearly lost it.)

My uncle saw a cup I use to water my plants get picked up and set in the floor about 2 feet away from the spot it was sitting. There was no way it could have fallen. It's little stuff like that, that freak me out. Another friend was there one night and kept hearing stuff moving in the kitchen. He thought it was me, but I was asleep on the couch.

Well it's an old apartment building. I think they went up in the sixties. I'm the only one in the building and all the other apartments are dead bolted. As far as anything weird I'm not really sure. More than likely, I'd say yes. There are several people that have died. One of my neighbors died a couple years ago.

I do remember seeing like a shadow at my front door one night, right before I went to bed. I was going to sleep on the couch that night and was flipping through the channels on TV when I heard the front door open (again). It was double locked so I jumped up and there was a shadow figure standing there, then it just turned and walked out. It's been getting worse ever since. That was probably about a year ago. Ever since weird stuff just keeps happening.

What do I mean by shadow. Hmmm, ok you know how if you look at someone in the dark sometimes you can only see a silohuette (sp?), well like that. He/she/it (about six ft. tall) came around the corner at the front door, stood there, then turned and left. All I could really see was that silohuette.

Two days later, someone jerked all my pillows out from under my head. I don't sleep a whole lot at night, so usually I'm awake watching TV. It was quiet for a while after that, then for the last month it's been getting worse. I really don't know what it is. Could be a ghost, could be I"m crazy. Who knows?

Protection? Are you meaning like a gun or baseball bat, or like charms and spells?

I have several ball bats. No charms or spells though.

If it is a ghost, I know a bat will not help me. :tu:

Well I don't have any crosses or anything. I probably have some spell stuff lying around somewhere I'd have to check. Otherwise nope.

I don't really know if I'm getting warnings. Mostly it's just playful stuff, not really anything harming. (I've only felt threatened once, and I didn't see anything there. Could hear it though)

Mostly if I just say something like "Will you stop so I can get some sleep?" or "That's really enough." I get left alone until the next day or whatever.

nah, like I said I only felt threatened once. After that, it's just that annoying stuff. Things getting knocked over, moved, opened and closed, jumping on the bed. I can deal. But if the walls start bleeding and stuff like that, I'm definitely asking for my security deposit back :tu: :P
