Hey, its been a while since I last took the time to tell you whats been happening at my house/friends/grandma's.
Well for the past few weeks after I last logged off (around December 08) I noticed a changed in feeling around the house, a more calm feeling. The smell of roses was smelt by me and my Dad on a number of occasions, which, of course I tryed to find an explanation for it. The popuri smells of like, sandlewood smell, not roses, so I guessed that wasnt it. Air freshener, nope. I was completely baffled where the smell was coming from. Then I thought, my aunt used to wear rose smelling perfume (she passed away a while back) Now I dont know wether my aunt was around on a number of ocassions, but it really smelt like she used to wear.
Apart from smells, theres the usual shadow that runs up the stairs that Ive seen a few times, nothing too creepy.
But about a week ago, I was drifting off to sleep, and I heard a creek outside my room. Now these floorboards dont creek on there own, like old house do, these floorboards have to be physically moved to creek. After the creek I heard shuffling on the carpet on the landing area, although I guessed it was around the landing. I thought nothing of it at first until around 5-6 mins later *scratch* I thought "What the hell is that" it stopped after around 2 or 3 scratches, ( I dont have any pets B) ) then 30 secs later it was constant scratching for about 3-4 mins. This reallllllyyyyyy freaked me out. I could also hear breathing, like, heavy breathing. Now, a previous owner of the house suffered from breathing difficulties, now I dont know wether he's come back to haunt, but that would give me some idea of who or what was making the noises.

Now, my friends house, SO many things have happened.
My friend lives with his grandpa and dad. The grandpa has enthasimia, and has like a few weeks to live... and apparently his wife ( my friends grandma) haunts his house.
Now I agree with this cause I heard her say "Hello" in the middle of the night. Both me and my friend heard this at the same time. Ive also seen her head poke round the corner of his kitchen door. Anyway, drifting off the subject xD I dont know if the suffering of his grandad has anything to do with the increasing amount of activity, but I have a feeling it has.
Knocks, bangs and shadows, if not full body apparitions are seen frequently.

My grandmas house... freaky at times. I refuse to walk out into the corridoor at night or early morning. It just has a horrible, horrible feel. Shadows are seen CONSTANTLY like, nearly daily for a few weeks, down this hallway. People have died in the house, im not sure who, I dont really ask as its a bit rude to ask my grandparents about death.
Last tuesday I visited their house, I went to the toilet. Blah blah blah, washed my hands, pulled the handle to leave the room. "Oh? this is strange I cant open the door" Yeh... I couldnt open it... The door was not moving at all. No lock. Nothing in the way cause I checked. I hesitated and shouted for my grandpa. He came and opened the door. He asked me what the problem was. I said I couldnt get out something was in the way. He looked at me shocked and said " Hmm I know exactly how you feel" Now that kinda sounds like its happened to him before doesnt it?

Thanks for reading my long post of summarised activites in the past 1-2 months

Hello Dannn,
Thanks for the interesting reading - you've got quite a commotion there! :sk

I assume you haven't talked to your grandfather about the experiences openly yet?
Is anyone else in your family experiencing anything, or do you suppose it is just you?

Looks like it runs in the male side of your family

Out of curiosity: if these happenings are so common around you and the others. have you or anybody else ever attempted to find out about the background beneath them, research the subject? Or do you just try to get along with this?

Yehh I guess xD

Yeh we have got an idea of who it might be. But we have'nt looked into it very deep like who lived in our house previously that might have died here, but I'm guessing its one of the previous owners I talked to briefly who had some kind of lung problem but who knows. But my Dad's sorta like a medium so he's got an idea of who it might be who haunts our house, and also my grandma's. But at my friend's house its deffinitely his grandma, and maybe his great aunt.

Glad your interested as I am about this haha xD

Thanks for the info.

Yes, it sounds curious to me, and it's mainly because of how you seem to be at ease with what's happening around you.
I find people who have experienced paranormal most of their life and learnt to live side by side with it most interesting.

Hehe, I've learnt to live with it I guess

Nice story there.
I'm always interested with such kind of experiences though I already read and hear some like that repeatedly.
