I like the pic. I'm not photo expert, but I can't see any evidence of photoshopping or tampering.

The thing does look like part of the picture, but I cant see any face or a lot of features that would suggest its a 'tall woman'.. Its still a good pic though, the thing is a genuine anomaly

Unfortunally, my family is the biggest bunch of sceptics you'll ever meet, and they think all this time thinking about ghost is a waste. I can't wait to prove them wrong.

I hate it when things are circled like that because then we see what we're expected to see. :tu:

..Yeah I know what you mean, if it can be seen, why point it out? ..Let us work out where and what it is ourself.

Yep, circling alleged ghosts on the photographs is one of the annoying bits - the other one is opening the picture in hope to see a larger version of it and yet finding another one of the same size..Why would you create a link to the photo that is no different from the previous one? *sigh*..It looks quite convincing, but it is a small picture. .Anyone who'd judge on it being real or not for them should be able to examine it in full size. .I have no such possibility, unfortunately...There is a hint in the story though, that (assuming that the story itself is real), might add some credibility to the picture..One of the supposed witnesses stated that "...I was shocked to see another woman's shadow in the picture. She looked like a priestess in long white clothes.".She's not talking about the same photo, yet the silhouette on this one resembles a woman in some long white robe with a belt...And one more thing, a common question in here appeared again - why would anyone take a picture of the stairs?.I don't find it as strange as it appears, there may be many reasons...One of them is being interested in paranormal, which you all should well understand. It often takes just one of us having a camera and being in the place where supposedly there could be something interesting to be found, to produce such photo..And we do take pictures randomly sometimes, innit? At least I find this exact location curious - looking up the stairs, unable to peek through the darkness on the left... who knows what might show up on the pic? :tu:.It's an ever-present human factor - curiosity...Secondly, the building is (was) renovated, so it could simply be a part of the job - to photograph the place before and after for comparison. They do it sometimes. It's curious why one would take a picture in the darkness though - there may be no windows there, but then I'd bring along some additional light if I wanted a decent outcome...Someone might have also liked the railing for some reason - pretty weird, but hell, tastes shouldn't be discussed. <_<..Anyway, one way or another, that's one very curious picture, mate..And it must have been a nice hotel...

When in the UK last year I took many photos of ancient castles and abbeys that might be considered random. I was photographing the architecture itself. Some people cannot comprehend taking photos that do contain people or cute fuzzy animals.

Ohhhh, I was so sold on this originally. I studied it, zooming in and out and around the whole pic. It looked real to me... I thought it was real. I so wanted it to be real. But, I don't think it is now. ..Just behind 'her head' there is a light source, quite distinct, on the arch. Two in fact! One above the other. In the bottom one you can clearly see the shadow of something, and the only thing that is in perfect alignment with that shadow in the light, is her head, that is, the only thing that we can see; and further to the right of the light, slightly lower, is another, pointed shadow. It would appear to be this lady's upheld hand. And, right thro the centre of the 'head' shadow, runs the identifying circle, conveniently obscuring part of the shadow in the light...Has anyone ever heard of a ghost accompanied by her own shadow? Something there is causing those shadows in the lower lightshaft, and it ain't her, that's for sure...Furthermore, looking down at her left arm, it reaches to below her knees practically. Not only that but she has two left arms. That one that hangs straight down, and another left arm that is raised and bent upwards at the elbow, to all appearances. No, there is something deeply wrong in that form imho. ..All the time I felt that this is the one. This is real, But, I kept feeling that something wasn't right. I'm still not sure of what that gut instinct tells me, but I'm convinced now that it's a fake.
You can get straight A's, but still flunk life.
...
Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday.
