Good thread, thanks Saruman. . before I start throwing suggestions out there are you thinkin of a software upgrade that will add features to the website? Or are you able to change features already in place?. . What i'm asking is...waht kinds of suggestions are you asking for?

Primarily features that members would like to see added to the site, changes to existing features or anything else; things that would benefit the site and make it more interesting or informative.. . At the moment we have:. . - Discussion Forum. - Photographs Gallery. - Ghost stories. - Ghost webcams. . What would you like to see added to that list that you'd like or expect to find on a site about ghosts ?

ok, thanks. . . for starters and along those lines, how about an area specific to ghost hunting equipment. . . talk about what we use...HOW we use it....share methodology as we may tell and teach eachother things about like tools *equipment* that we have in common but werent aware of different ways to use it. Or...it would be a good referece point for people to review to see what they may want to purchase based on other peoples experience with the same or a like piece.

I think we already discounted that one, sorry. Most people hate background music on web pages.

How sweet would that be??

I have submitted several stories and have more to submit. When I'm about to submit a new one, I can't always remember if I have already submitted it or not (they say the mind is the first to go). Maybe there could be an area on our personal pages that will keep track of stories we have submitted. There may already be something of this sort and I just have no idea what I'm doing. If so, please let me know? Thanks!. KV

Yeah I think some better search options for the ghost stories section is needed, at the moment you can only browse them in the order they were submitted so some additional options, including the ability to view all stories by a specific member would be a good idea.

Hey Saru can you give the users here at G-M the same star and ranks system as U-M ? I liked U-M's star system better I think cause it's got more stars and pretty circles around'em you know? plus here you gotta wait a LOT to get 6 stars and stuff =D

We'll see, I might have a rethink about the current post count rank system, i'll put it on the to-do list.

Saru I got a suggestion, many of the G-M members delete their comments cause they're afraid the wrong ones will see'em, can you make it possible for the ones that sign under anonymous mode to not view personal profiles? (in other words to not let'emspy) or at least to let users have their chosen ones who can only view their comments? (for instance someone who only lets their friends (friend list) view their comments) That'd be Extremely useful for some of us, it was the same before you blocked non-signed users to view G-M profiles, I just don't want anonymous people spying on me it's Extremely annoying what do you think?

..that's a very good idea... sometimes comments can get a little personal and one wouldn't want just anyone to see them.

That would be a suggestion for Invision Board as the forum doesn't support that option; i'd always recommend sending a message via the private messanger if you don't want anyone else to see it, the profile comments system is only intended for public comments that any member can view.
