I would like to ask the community of Ghost Mysteries to give any insights or theories that you may have on ghosts and share them with the rest of the community. Since this is a largely growing website, I hope to have insights from everyone. This is a open topic for anybody, but I would like everyone to be respectful of others thoughts and feelings. In this topic, I would prefer to see insight on ghost anatomy, behavior, etc. I'll start of with my own theory that I created just last week.


I believe that a ghost is made up of energy, and has to become almost solid to actually preform certain actions. For example, if a spirit is trying to move a glass on the table, that spirit will need to draw in energy and its structure would have to become almost solid in order to move the glass. Try and think of it like water. The normal form a ghost can be is like water vapor, particles spread around in an area. To move something, the particles become more dense and allow the ghost to grab and move things.

Fair enough, from what I've myself seen, there's differnet types of "after life creatures", because I don't know if you have noticed evan, but you don't see ghosts PICKING up stuff, you either way see ghosts that appear before people or in images, and ghosts that are able to Move stuff with their minds that are then again, Invisible, I've Never Ever seen a ghost lifting a cup in front of someone else, be it in a vid or in real life, Then again that leads me to another conclusion, that maybe the way some objects move are caused by the minds of the supposed victims that think it's a ghost since they can't control it, and those ghosts that appear before people and cameras Are the real deals, quite complicated.

Good theory, although I have been struggling with the question of what reallyis energy...but more on that later.

To add to that I think ghosts would have to be a touch higher than just the conventional sense of 'energy'. If they were just a form of energy floating around...they would not be able to persist for years...as in some cases...or to perform complex tasks like manipulating objects, or getting into people's heads. That energy would have to eventually dissipate...converted to some other form...that is.
Also, as we attach ghosts to humans that lived...that would mean that ghosts are actually something of a "remnant' of that person's intelligent existence....its hard to think that a person's consciousness...or 'mind'...is just made up of energy. It's probably something higher than just the scientific concept of energy.

Ghosts are also known as Spirits of the Dead, and sometimes they are referred to as Angels and sometimes Demons, but in my estimation all of these are just the Spirits of the Dead.

When they go to the afterlife they take their intelligence, and memories both good and bad with them and there they are capable of reappearing in any form they choose to take.

Can a spirit be capable of knocking a picture off a wall or throw a glass of water across the room?

It has been my experience that no that is not true, yet I cannot dispute the word of others that say this has happened to them all I know is what has been my experience.

Spirits are capable of interrupting our sleep, change our mind, and block our thoughts so we can't remember what we wanted to do before they blocked our thoughts.

Spirits can give us good dreams and they can give us nightmares and they can appear to us in any form they choose, demon, angel, animal or whatever.

Spirits are capable if they are angry of entering our body and sitting there for years causing us pain and suffering and of course, I have written about my experiences in many of my posts but its not easy to give the world the truth about Ghosts and Spirits unless of course a spirit wishes to make themselves known to them.

Sometimes Ghosts or Spirits simply choose certain people to torment and when they do no one much believes and we are stuck with them until we can settle things with them ourselves.

I did not intend to tell this story again but the way this thread begins invites me to tell my story here to try to answer some of the Questions Posed on this subject.

well let me clear something up, a ghost is completely different than a spirit, a ghost walks as if it is doing the same thing it did in life which means that it is a recording of a past event and residual energy has been left behind, a ghost has no means of comunicating with us they are just past happenings. They are a replay of some event and often occur due to something violent having happened to them.
A spirit is completely different and is able to communicate with the living as these are our relatives and loved ones, they live in the spirit world and come back to guide us throughout life, this is also where spirit guides fit in, the way a spirit is able to move an object is purely through energy which is part of what they are, they are also able to tap into our energy and use that to move things which can leave you feeling depleated and tired. Spirit can return as they wish to look , often as you remember them in life at there best, when a person dies if they die a bad person they will still be a bad spirit, which is why we get violent mischevious spirits out there, they dont like to admit they have died and will do anything to take your energy.

You are right, the spirits can be our Relatives and others we knew or didn't know.

And this is why I have been writing that my three Relatives and Dr. P. who have chosen to appear and call themselves Satan's Followers and do their possession act as they try to prove whether a Spirit higher up in the Spirit World can take control of them and Exorcise them from my body as a Priest Claims to be able to do.

Over the years they have challenged a Higher Power to prove he has power over them after another Spiritual Writer claimed in her book that spirits can be destroyed when they become too Evil to be Rehabilitated.

The Guides who predicts Earthquakes and tidal waves and even death has told them if they are still inside this body when it dies they will be Destroyed when they leave the body but I say that isn't good enough he must work through me the way he would a priest and prove that he can Exorcise them from my body.

When we attempt the exorcism I begin to look more dead than alive and get these death like black rings under my eyes and I lose my energy to the point I have to take to my bed.

Since the four won't leave my body I have been trying to talk them out of my body and when that didn't work I began to publish stories all over the internet about this situation hoping this might encourage him to leave my body if he knows his family and friends on Earth will learn that he is behaving as an Evil Possessing Spirit in the Spirit World.

My problem in getting anyone to believe me is when dr. Petas walked the earth he was a Psychaitrist and some of my relatives believe I am just writing this to keep Dr. Petas alive because they believe I had a crush on him when he walked the Earth and have said this is why I am keeping him around to make myself seem impiortant to him but nothing could be further from the Truth.

I blame my three realtives for having Dr. Petas behave this way because they became jealous of the kinds of Psychic Information I was able to gather and they decided they were not going to let me have any sort of importance through my Psychic Work.

So now I have no choice but to keep Dr. Petas from Toledo, Ohio as the Star in this Evil drama if he so chooses and hopefully soon some of his realtives will beleive he is doing this and come to my aid, or perahps a Priest will come to my aid and prove to me what happens during an Exoircism performed by a priest.

Until he gets out of my body he and his hometown are going to remain in this copy and perhaps he will turn his hometown into another Amityville Horror if thats what he chooses to do.

I personally never wanted this to happen, I wanted to work quietly and not have anyone pay attention to me, but Dr. Petas chose to try to out me because I was using my Psychic Gift to gather information on the Mafia and Dr. Petas thought outing me would put me into danger and so now I am putting him out since he made sure my name was made public now who knows what could happen in this situation.

Now Again Dr. Petas you are in the copy, but if you leave my body now I will cancel this copy the choice is yours.

I have given Dr. Petas time to leave my body before saving this and again he has refused so I will keep exposing him in the copy until he agrees to leave my body.

I feel he is a danger to my life because of the brutal attacks he and the three others are making against my body day and night and so he leaves me no choice and I have told him I will keep putting him into the copy until he agrees to leave my body and at that time I will not say he gave in because the Guide who claims to have the power to destroy him has not at this time prove it.

I have now asked all the powers of the Universe to allow these four to leave my body without fear of retribution if they will now exit this body and go in peace.

And of course whether they stay away or not depends on whether a power in the universe proves he has the power to force them to stay away from me?

Whats your thoughts on Deja 'Vu , Rosemary?

I think that Deja Vu is part of a psychic part of our minds that we haven't controlled yet. I remember the last time I had an experience was during the holidays. I was at the movies watching "Sweeny Todd" staring Johnny Depp (by the way, its a great movie but its really bloody, go see it if ur not the faint of heart). During the movie, there were parts of the movie which i recognized that i had no previous knowledge of. Keep in mind that I hadn't seen any trailers or heard about the movie at all. I was only told about the story about a hour before the show. The part that really stood out for me was a part near the end when a young boy was singing a song. I actually found myself actually singing along to the lyrics that i had no knowledge of, which kinda freaked me out at first.

I have had moments thoughout my entire life where I could remember that I have recognized a certain object, place, or person without having to experienced it. I'm trying to find out if you can and how to control it. Rosemary, do you know anything about this?

my thought and theory on de ja vu is simply that the mind is more advanced than we think and that it is always one step ahead of our other senses . this is explained as if you are walking along a wall and when you get to the end before you turn the corner your mind has already been ahead of you and is transmitting this so you think you have done this before, causing de ja vu. This may seem wacky but there we go. Fee x

I also believe they exist in a state of energy. They can, IMO, gather energy from the atmospheres electromagnetic field itself. EMF detectors tell us there is always some level of energy at any given time everywhere. I wouldnt know HOW they do it, but it's also common belief that they can take energy from batteries.

My thoughts are that for them to interact in any given way, they need to have a certain level of energy proportionate to do what they need/want to do.

Meaning..."just" to whisper something in someones ear may not take much energy, relatively speaking, as the amount of energy it may take to move an object from Point A to Point B.

Likewise, just "a little energy" may produce that cold feeling you get when one touches you or is close by while "alot" of energy could yield a shadow ghost or apparition.

the energy you talk about is the auric field , which has been proven to exist by nasa, this is why we feel so irritated when someone stands too close or the atmosphere is not nice, this also plays a part in our emotions as if this is not right we can be very unsettled and low , spirits have an aura also that is the colours we sometimes see around them. The auric field is energy which our bodies and soul need to be. Fee x

Yup, I'm aware of the aura and have seen some pretty cool scientifically produced photo's of it.

Maybe part of what I'm talking about could be the aura (the cold feeling perhaps). But, i think the energy in general for them to exist and interact etc is different from the aura. you and i have energy to exist as humans...but we also have an aura.

The movie I can relate to but in my case it happens with Music and the beat and I pick it up before it happens and I just go with it and have fun with being able to get the beat and when this happens its kind of like what Musician feels I suppose.
But I am not personally musical and it only happens during times like that.

Ya, but this was knowing the lyrics before ever hearing the score or seeing the movie.
