I like to dabble with photography, here are a couple of shots at a local place that has been forgotten, and fallen into ruin.....Banal observation....Posted Image..So sad, a very melancholy place.Posted Image..Why concern yourself with spirits, when the echoes of what once was still rings through the empty hallways...?.Posted Image..No fancy camera equipment, just atmosphere, and a disposable black and white camera.....G

.good job Gigan, seemed like an old forgotten city

Mostly I like horror - Stephen King, Dean Koontz and the like - but I will read almost anything. I also love to write fiction and my dream is to one day see my name on the cover of a book. How sweet would that be??

My talent, if you can call it that, is writing. I love to write fiction but some of my things aren't fiction. Here is a little thing I wrote about my daughter and here is the story behind it:. . My baby girl was born almost 2 months premature. For the 1st month she was fine. She was kept one extra night in hospital as a precaution, then sent home with a clean bill of health. . When she was a month old, she started having problems - she'd stop breathing and her heart rate would plummet. It got really bad and they put her in a children's hospital where she had to be attached to all kinds of machines to keep her breathing and her heart going until her body could take over. For the 1st week it was touch and go, the doctors didn't know from one day to the next if she'd make it through the night.. She had RSV, phnuemonia, apnea, a heart murmur - you name it, she had it... all at once.. One day, they came to me and smiled and said, "You're baby is going to be ok.". I wouldn't allow myself to cry one tear though it all but when they said that, I hit my knees in tears, thanking God and all that's holy that my baby was going to be ok. . That night, I sat all night and just watched her sleep without the help of tubes and machines. . She woke up cranky and cried for 20 minutes and that was the best 20 minutes of my life. I sat with her and just held her and listened to her cry and smiled all through it because, with each breath she took in to let out another cry, I knew she was ok.. Anyways, after she went to sleep, I wrote this:

.very nice tunes there spectre, went to your band's site and this song reminded me of the old james bond  ...as for you kentucky, that's so touching, and I can't imagine the relief you must've felt, must be heavenly and I'm glad you didn't have to go through the pain of seeing her die, but you stated your name in your poem  , anyway how old is your daughter now ?

Thanks y'all. She is 10 and I still watch her sleep sometimes and still feel that same relief. Course, there are times when I could happily throttle her! lol

A poem I wrote a while ago called 'Burning in Autumn':..Perfection….That is what I see,.When I look into those eyes,.Of shimmering cobalt blue..I fall into your arms,.and deeper into your passion,.I am burning in Autumn…..I want to rest my head,.on your shoulder,.and listen to you breathe,.like the wind through the trees..Such beauty I behold, .Like a fall sunset,.I am burning in Autumn...Intoxicating….Like burning woodsmoke,.You fill my lungs, .And become my every breath..As the flames touch the sky,.I close my eyes to dream,.I am burning in Autumn...Touch….Like the cool earth,.dressed in orange and red,.I lay myself down,.by your side,.as you quietly sleep….we are burning in Autumn…..Posted Image..(hope that wasn't too 'Emo' hehe)

..This is an awesome Poem you have written Gigan, it is a really cool poem indeed. ..I am Pavot, and was just tuned onto this thread by Chupa. I am looking forwards to poeting some of my own Poems and hope to review some more of your art and poems as well as works created by other GMers. :alien: ..Pavot

Ohhhhh, I'm almost afraid to post now after reading everone else's. but I promised Gigan-san that I would share my lyrics...Two songs, horror based..Here goes nothin...................Chainsaw Girl..In the dead of night, when the moon hangs low.Step closer friend, she'll put on a show.Eyes burn like evil fire.Destruction is her one desire..She's waiting in the dark. She's lurking in the park. She hunts you down. She's walking up the steps.Knowing you can't call for help..The sound of her blades still ring your ears.Blessed darkness erasing your fears. She smiles down on you so sweetly now.Her echoing laughter all you can hear..She's waiting in the dark. She's lurking in the park. She's claimed you now. She's walking down the steps.Knows you'll never call for help.~~~~~..Put You to Sleep..Always round a corner.Always looking cross your shoulder.I am your master, closing in faster. You know the end is near.I'm so close now dear..I'll put you to sleep.I'll hold you tight. We'll live in the night. The rest of our lives..Take a breath, it'll be your last. The lights are dim, you're fading fast.Sweet sacrifice, my one wicked vice. You're mine, now close your eyes..I'll put you to sleep.I'll hold you tight. We'll live in the night. The rest of our lives..Lay with me now, your head on my shoulder.I'll hold you to me as the night grows colder.Go to sleep, my little one.Smile and know you'll never grow older..I'll put you to sleep.I'll hold you tight. We'll live in the night. The rest of our lives...Ta dah..I added more to the last one, decided it really did need it after all..*quickly scurries away under a rock to the safety of the dark and peers out at everyone*

....i love them so much i also rite songs that are creepy with horror and *i like put u to sleep* ur song rocksssssssssss

OK, in keeping the thread on track, I found another painting I did a while back, of a girl called Ginger, who is the lead character in a horror movie called Ginger Snaps a rather splendid werewolf movie :) ..Posted Image

.i have a talent to its writting poems. the victum of cemetary girl.Roses are red corpses are blue tonight noone will hear you.so dont scream or blood will stream like a river of broken.screams but tonight you will be vanising so dont worry.and dont scream but you will be stuck in what i call a .bloody nightmare but dont fret to much it will be alright.but i will make it slow and painful tonight but dont feel to bad.i will lay you on a bed of dirt but i have a present for you a .tomb stone that says N.R.I.P. so there i will be back to lay.some black decaying roses on your new but quite grave.and with this i have one last thing to say have a never quite.plesent dream and i will see you next halloween. :)
