Since all of my relations think I am crazier than a loon I thought that there should be a list of good asylums I could check into. :tu: Of course all my family is nuttier then fruitcake and we all like it that way. :) Good thing we all love each another because no one else would want us. :D Check out some of the asylums and if you see me there do not worry I have had my rabbies shots, I think. :hmm:

we picked up some interesting EVPs (although I am more than a little skeptical about EVP) and some odd happenings while we were there, including a trained guard dog that refused to enter a particular part of the building.

I am hoping to go back in the next couple of weeks, before it gets totally knocked down (they are building houses on the site)

That says run for your life and pray that whatever the dog is afraid of won't follow you home. :tu: Seriously though it is a shame that they are going to knock it down though. :( But that is the way of progress I guess and hopefully you can go there one last time before it gets demolished.

I am hoping to go within the next week or two, failing that, there is plenty of other stuff here to check out.

I will be going on an investigation to a hotel that has had some disturbances, thats coming up soon as well.

there has been reports of noises and things moving, so we are going to rent a couple of rooms, set up the equipment in one and stay in the other

I would love to hear your results that is if you do not mind sharing them. I had found out that in the early 1900's a relative of my Grandfathers committed suicide in a hotel but I could not find out if the hotel was still there today.

A good one if you're ever in Pennsylvania is Dixmont mental hospital, it's been closed for years, but strange things seem to happen there after dark.

Great Links, Looks worse than I remember. I have been there, roughly 14 years ago the place is rather spooky, but I saw, nor heard, nor felt any ghosts. It's just eerie there.
