Strange Footprints?

During the recent snowy weather in the UK (Feb/March 2018), I went outside into my backyard to empty the household bins into the wheel bin. To my surprise, I discovered two small footprints on the drain cover below my kitchen window. The snow on the window ledge too was disturbed, as if a child or short person had stood there and peered in through the window. The rest of the snow in my yard was undisturbed, so there was no way someone had walked there.. .I've circled the footprints and window ledge in the photo, for ease of viewing. (The other larger prints in the snow were mine).
