Grandma's Deceased Husband?

Grandma's Deceased Husband?

I recently connected with long lost cousins and relatives on my Dad's side of the family. My Dad and I were estranged and only saw each other 4 times that I can remember since I was born in 1959. My cousin sent me an old photo of my Dad when he was in the Air Force in 1954, along with my grandmother and his sister (Aunt Ella) and Uncle Barney. My grandmother is standing in the middle of the picture and if you zoom in you can see a clear shot of a scary looking face. The closer you look you can see that my grandmothers hand seems to form part of the face but the rest is a mystery. I had never seen anyone in the picture before except my Dad, and the picture was taken after my Dad's sister (Aunt Carrie)funeral at the church. My grandfather died a horrible death in 1951 here in KY, he was burning sage grass during a windy day in Febuary and may have been drinking. He was 78 and like to drink rot gut whiskey, so the story goes that he was burning the grass and got overwhelmed by the smoke and passed out. He was found a little while later and apprantly burned to death. My grandmother was put in an insane asylum 2 years later and died in 1978, I never met her at all. I began searching for my Dad's relatives 32 years ago and found my cousin on the web by accident. We recently connected and have shared many interesting stories, this picture didn't seem out of the ordinary by anyone until I zoomed in on it to see the resemblance of my Dad's facial features to mine. When I saw the face I got cold chills because I have never seen anything like that in my life. Strange, what do you think?

Nice photo, but such a shame it's not clear as when you zoom in, it's pixelated and you can't see anything! I love old photo's, so would be awesome to see a clearer version so we can see what gave you chills. :). . . . Nadine xox
