unexplained mist

while photographing a cemetary in mississippi i snapped this photo and this what came out in it. it was a clear night no fog no rain no mist it was acutally warm. no smoke. i was so shocked i kept snapping pictures in this exact same spot and every one came out normal. any comments are appreciated. thanks
